Built for the 1999 British Touring Car Championship. Used by Anthony Reid for the first two meetings of the year (Donington 5th Apr and Silverstone 18th Apr), and by Alain Menu at the final two meetings (Oulton Park 12th Sep and Silverstone 19th Sep), serving as the team's spare car for the remainder of the year.

At the end of the season the car was used for testing and development of the 2000-spec car, receiving many upgrades in the process. The car was eventually retired from service and spent 2000 as part of Ford's exhibit in the Millennium Dome.

Eventually purchased by Chris Crockett along with all the other ex-Prodrive cars, it has remained unused ever since.
