History
Built in 1998 and used by Rickard Rydell to win the British Touring Car Championship. At the end of the season the car was shipped to Australia and won the Bathurst 1000 driven by Rydell and Jim Richards.
The following season the car remained in Australia and was driven in the Australian Super Touring Championship by Jim Richards and at Bathurst by Richards and Cameron McLean.
In 2000 the car returned to Europe and put on display in Volvo's Göteborg museum where it remains to this day.
