Built for the 1997 British Touring Car Championship, where it was used by Kelvin Burt. The car was badly damaged in an accident and was rebuilt as a spare shell.

The shell remained unused until 2001, when it was fitted wih the running gear salvaged from 97-003 and restored to original condition. The car has been unused since.
