Built in 1995 this is believed to be the earliest factory car still in existance - ST01 and ST02 were crash tested to meet FIA safety standards.
The car was originally sold to Brad Jones Racing for use in the 1996 Australian Super Touring Championship, where Greg Murphy used it to take third in the series.
In 1997 the car was sold to a European based team. Where the car was used during this period is not currently known but it's understood it spent a time in Finland.
At some point the car was aquired by Kyle Chura who sold the car in Nov 2002 and in early 2003 was brought by California based ex-NATCC team Neuspeed, who completely rebuilt the car and fitted it with a turbo-charged engine.
In 2004/5 the car was run in the Dutch Supercars Challenge Steve Hirst and Ric Wood.
